Project Overview:
Benyton was entrusted with the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and training for a suite of advanced road testing equipment. This project placed us at the forefront of construction technology transfer in Kenya.
Scope of Work:
Pavement Surface Profiler – for evaluating road surface evenness
Airport Surface Friction Tester – for runway safety assessments
Falling Weight Deflectometer – for non‑destructive pavement structural evaluation
Comprehensive training for government engineers and technicians
Outcome:
The equipment was successfully integrated into the Division’s quality management systems. Our training component ensured that local engineers could operate, maintain, and interpret data from these sophisticated instruments. It was a project not just about hardware—but about building national capacity.
